STYLING NOVEMBER

And just like that… it’s November.  How did we get here so fast?  It feels like yesterday was April and flowers were blooming.  Now all the leaves are falling and it’s getting colder by the second.  Time really does fly when you’re over 30.  I mean, 20.  😉

This month is super exciting because we get to host Friendsgiving (yearly tradish) for the first time in our new home!  It’s the only reason I don’t decorate for Christmas until after.  But how do you decorate for that time between Halloween and Christmas?  Easy… leave the pumpkins and fall décor, and take out the Halloween accessories.  Violà!  Scroll down to check out some small changes I made, including adding that beautiful wool throw we picked up while in Iceland.  Enjoy!

My husband gave me that wooden card for our one year wedding anniversary. ❤  Also, our fire pit area in our backyard is covered in pine cones.  Thanks nature!

These linen runners were a DIY: just sized, cut and frayed the edges.  SOOOO easy!  Also, there are no rules when it comes to styling runners.  Have a little fun with them. 🙂

vase

Rogue seasonal beer bottles make excellent vases.  (This is not the only one I have.)

There is nothing better than chilly afternoons, cozy flannel and coffee to warm up the spirit.  Hope you’re enjoying autumn!
